Ingredients
- Waffle Batter: 2 cups all-purpose flour, 2 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp baking soda, 1/2 tsp salt, 2 tsp ground ginger, 1 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon, 1/4 tsp ground cloves, 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg, 3 large eggs, 1 3/4 cups milk, 1/4 cup unsalted butter melted, 1/4 cup unsulphured molasses, 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Toppings & Decorations: 1 cup whipped cream, 1 cup mini marshmallows, 1 cup assorted holiday candies (gumdrops, chocolate buttons etc.), 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies, 1/2 cup chocolate chips, 1/2 cup small pretzel sticks, 1/2 cup sliced strawberries, 1/2 cup banana slices, 1/4 cup maple syrup, 1/4 cup powdered sugar
Instructions
- Step 1:
- Preheat your waffle iron according to manufacturer instructions.
- Step 2:
- In a large bowl, whisk together flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg.
- Step 3:
- In a separate bowl, whisk eggs, milk, melted butter, molasses, and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Step 4:
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined (do not overmix).
