Spread 1 tablespoon of cranberry sauce and 1 tablespoon of cherry preserves each onto the unbuttered side of two panettone slices.

Arrange sliced Brie cheese evenly over the cranberry and cherry-covered slices.

Top with the remaining panettone slices, buttered side outward, to form two sandwiches.

Warm a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium-low heat.

Place the sandwiches in the skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes per side, pressing lightly, until panettone is golden brown and cheese is fully melted.

Remove sandwiches from the skillet. Allow to rest 1 minute, then slice and serve while warm.
