04 - 1 cup pineapple, diced
05 - 1 banana, sliced (optional)

07 - 6 small clear plastic cups
08 - 6 large marshmallows for bunny cheeks
09 - 12 mini marshmallows for bunny noses
10 - 12 small candy eyes
11 - 12 pink jellybeans or pink chocolate candies for noses
12 - 12 white paper cupcake liners for bunny ears
13 - Black edible marker for whiskers and mouth

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Wash and prepare all fruits as directed. Combine strawberries, grapes, blueberries, pineapple, and optional banana and kiwi in a large mixing bowl.
02 - Evenly divide the mixed fruit into 6 small clear plastic cups, filling each cup approximately three-quarters full.
03 - Place two large marshmallows on the front of each cup for cheeks. Position a mini marshmallow or pink candy between the cheeks for the nose. Attach candy eyes above the cheeks using honey or icing as adhesive. Use the edible marker to draw whiskers and a small mouth on the marshmallows.
04 - Fold each paper cupcake liner in half and cut into ear shapes. Tape or glue two ears to the back inside rim of each cup so they protrude upward.
05 - Serve immediately, or refrigerate for up to 4 hours before serving.

# Additional Tips::

01 -
  • Kids will actually eat their fruit because they're too busy giggling at the silly faces to notice they're eating vegetables.
  • Zero cooking involved means even a distracted parent can pull this together while managing homework and snack emergencies.
  • The whole thing comes together in twenty minutes, which is perfect for when someone suddenly remembers there's a potluck tomorrow.
02 -
  • Marshmallows can slip right off the fruit if you don't press them down enough—they need to actually nestle into the fruit or sit on a stable fruit platform, not just balance on top like they're afraid of commitment.
  • The edible marker will bleed slightly into the marshmallow if it's too warm, so if your kitchen is hot, keep the marker in the fridge and work quickly, or accept that your bunny whiskers might get a little soft and blurry, which somehow makes them more charming anyway.
03 -
  • Press your marshmallows down firmly enough that they won't shift when a kid picks up the cup, but gently enough that they maintain their shape—it's surprisingly easy to find that sweet spot once you've done two or three.
  • If your paper ears are drooping, tape them to the outside rim instead of inside, and the structural integrity improves dramatically while they still look adorable.
