05 - 1/2 teaspoon paprika
06 - Zest of 1 lemon
07 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

08 - 1/4 cup dry white wine or fish stock

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Lightly grease a baking dish large enough to hold cod fillets in a single layer.
02 - Pat cod fillets dry with paper towels and season lightly with freshly ground black pepper. Arrange fillets evenly in the prepared dish.
03 - In a mixing bowl, combine crushed Ritz crackers, melted butter, chopped parsley, paprika, and lemon zest until crumbs are evenly moistened.
04 - Evenly sprinkle the cracker mixture over each cod fillet, pressing lightly to adhere.
05 - Pour dry white wine or fish stock around the fish in the baking dish, taking care not to moisten the topping.
06 - Bake for 18 to 20 minutes until cod flakes easily with a fork and the topping is golden brown.
