02 - 7 oz high-quality white chocolate

03 - 8 peppermint candy canes or 4 oz crushed hard peppermint candies
04 - 1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract (optional)

05 - 0.7 oz crushed freeze-dried raspberries (optional)
06 - 2 tablespoons mini chocolate chips (optional)
# Steps to Follow:
01 - Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - Gently melt the dark chocolate using a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
03 - Pour the melted dark chocolate onto the baking sheet and spread evenly into a rough rectangle approximately 1/4 inch thick.
04 - Refrigerate for 10 minutes until the dark chocolate is just set but still slightly soft.
05 - Melt the white chocolate using the same technique; if desired, stir in peppermint extract once melted.
06 - Pour the melted white chocolate over the chilled dark chocolate layer and spread evenly.
07 - Immediately sprinkle crushed peppermint candies and optional garnishes over the white chocolate, pressing lightly to adhere.
08 - Refrigerate for 20 to 30 minutes until fully firm.
09 - Break or cut the bark into irregular shards.
10 - Arrange shards loosely on a wooden serving board to allow easy sharing.
