Nutella Puff Pastry Snowflakes (Printable Version)

Golden puff pastry filled with creamy Nutella, twisted into beautiful snowflakes dusted with powdered sugar.

# What You'll Need:

→ Pastry

01 - 2 sheets ready-rolled puff pastry (about 8.8 oz each), thawed if frozen

→ Filling

02 - 6 tbsp Nutella or other chocolate-hazelnut spread

→ Topping

03 - 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
04 - 1 tbsp powdered sugar (for dusting)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
02 - Unroll both sheets of puff pastry. Place one sheet on the prepared tray.
03 - Evenly spread the Nutella over the pastry, leaving a 0.4 inch border around the edges.
04 - Place the second pastry sheet on top, aligning edges carefully.
05 - Place a small glass in the center without pressing down. Using a sharp knife, cut the pastry into 16 equal strips from the edge of the glass to the outer edge, forming sun rays.
06 - Gently twist each strip 2 to 3 times. Optionally pinch strip ends together to create a snowflake shape.
07 - Remove the glass and brush the entire pastry surface with beaten egg for a golden finish.
08 - Bake for 18 to 22 minutes, or until pastry is puffed and richly golden brown.
09 - Let cool slightly, then dust the snowflakes with powdered sugar. Serve warm or at room temperature.
