01 - 12 slices white sandwich bread, crustless

02 - 4.2 oz canned tuna in water, drained
03 - 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
04 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
05 - 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
06 - 1 tablespoon finely chopped chives
07 - Salt, to taste
08 - Black pepper, to taste

09 - 24 black olive slices
10 - 24 small capers
11 - 1 small carrot, peeled and finely diced (optional)
# Steps to Follow:
01 - Use a star-shaped cookie cutter to cut out 24 star shapes from the bread slices.
02 - Combine tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, chives, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl; stir until smooth.
03 - Spread a generous spoonful of tuna filling onto half of the star-shaped bread pieces.
04 - Top with the remaining bread stars to form mini sandwiches.
05 - Press two olive slices onto one point of each sandwich to resemble eyes and place a caper at the center of each olive slice.
06 - Optionally, adorn star points with finely diced carrot pieces for extra detail.
07 - Arrange sandwiches on a platter and serve chilled.
