01 - Pat ribs dry with paper towels and remove the thin membrane from the back of each rack.
02 - Evenly rub the ribs on both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika. Allow them to sit for 15 minutes at room temperature.
03 - Preheat oven to 300°F. Wrap the seasoned ribs tightly in aluminum foil and arrange on a rimmed baking sheet. Cook in oven for 2 hours until meat is tender.
04 - Preheat the grill to medium-high. Remove ribs from foil and transfer to the grill. Baste generously with BBQ sauce and grill for 10-15 minutes, turning and basting occasionally, until the outside is caramelized and slightly charred.
05 - Remove ribs from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes. Slice between the bones and serve with additional BBQ sauce if desired.
