01 -
Preheat oven to 190°C. Place salmon fillet skin-side down on a sheet of foil on a baking sheet. Fold the foil edges up about 5 cm to create a rim that will contain the sauce.
02 -
Arrange lemon slices underneath the salmon fillet and set aside.
03 -
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter on high for about 1 minute. Stir in lemon juice, honey, and minced garlic until well combined.
04 -
Pour three-quarters of the butter mixture over the salmon. Evenly sprinkle salt and pepper over the fillet.
05 -
Cover the salmon with another piece of foil, sealing the edges tightly. For enhanced flavor, let it marinate for 10-15 minutes if time allows.
06 -
Place the foil-wrapped salmon on a baking sheet and bake for approximately 17 minutes.
07 -
Remove from the oven and carefully open the foil to expose the salmon while keeping the edges raised to contain the sauce.
08 -
Change oven setting to high broil. Spoon the reserved butter mixture over the salmon, being careful not to overfill.
09 -
Broil for 5-10 minutes, or until the top develops a golden color to your preference.
10 -
Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately, offering any extra sauce on the side.
