Cinnamon Raisin Bread (Printable Page)

# What You Need:

→ Bread Base

01 - 2 cups all-purpose flour
02 - 1 cup white sugar
03 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
04 - 1/2 teaspoon salt
05 - 3/4 cup raisins
06 - 1 cup buttermilk
07 - 1 large egg
08 - 1/4 cup melted butter

→ Cinnamon Swirl

09 - 1/2 cup granulated white sugar
10 - 3 teaspoons ground cinnamon

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease the bottom of a 23x13-cm (9x5-inch) loaf pan.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, 1 cup of sugar, baking soda, and salt. Stir in the raisins. Add the buttermilk, egg, and melted butter, mixing just until combined.
03 - In a separate small bowl, mix the 1/2 cup of sugar with the ground cinnamon until well combined.
04 - Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan, then sprinkle with half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Gently add the remaining batter and top with the rest of the cinnamon-sugar. Use a knife to create swirls through the mixture.
05 - Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
06 - Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.
