# What You Need:

01 - 6 slices day-old bread, cubed
02 - 4 large eggs
03 - 240 ml milk
04 - 50 g granulated sugar
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
07 - Pinch of salt
08 - 2 tablespoons melted butter

→ Topping

09 - 50 g granulated sugar
10 - 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
11 - 2 tablespoons melted butter

# How to Make It:

01 - Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F) and thoroughly grease a 12-cup muffin tin.
02 - In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
03 - Add the cubed bread to the custard mixture and gently toss to coat all pieces. Allow to soak for 5 minutes so bread absorbs the liquid.
04 - Evenly distribute the soaked bread mixture among the prepared muffin cups.
05 - Drizzle melted butter over each muffin cup before baking.
06 - Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until tops are golden brown and centers are set.
07 - While muffins are baking, mix sugar and cinnamon together in a small bowl for the topping.
08 - Allow muffins to cool in the tin for 5 minutes before removing.
09 - Brush the tops of the warm muffins with melted butter, then generously sprinkle with the cinnamon-sugar mixture.
10 - Serve warm either plain or with a light drizzle of maple syrup for extra sweetness.

# Helpful Tips:

01 - These muffins can be stored in an airtight container for up to 2 days and reheated before serving.
02 - For a richer flavor, try using brioche or challah bread instead of regular bread.
