# What You Need:

→ BBQ Chicken

01 - 450 g (1 lb) boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts
02 - Salt and pepper, to taste
03 - 1 tsp smoked paprika
04 - 1 tsp garlic powder
05 - 1 tbsp olive oil
06 - 180 ml (¾ cup) BBQ sauce

→ Mini Waffles

07 - 2 cups waffle mix (or homemade batter)
08 - Ingredients per mix instructions (usually egg, milk, oil)
09 - Cooking spray or butter (for waffle iron)

→ Slider Assembly

10 - 12 mini waffle rounds (or cut full-size waffles into quarters)
11 - 6 slices cheddar or pepper jack cheese, halved
12 - 6–8 pickle chips (optional)
13 - Fresh parsley or chives, chopped (for garnish)
14 - Extra BBQ sauce, for drizzling or dipping

# How to Make It:

01 - Season chicken with salt, pepper, paprika, and garlic powder. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side, or until cooked through and golden. Shred chicken using two forks and toss in warm BBQ sauce. Keep warm.
02 - Preheat waffle iron and prepare batter according to instructions. Pour small portions into the waffle iron to form mini rounds. Cook until golden and crisp. Set aside.
03 - Layer bottom waffle with cheese slice, a scoop of BBQ chicken, and a pickle chip if desired. Top with another waffle round. Optional: Warm assembled sliders in the oven at 180°C (350°F) for 5 minutes to melt cheese slightly. Garnish with parsley or chives and serve immediately with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
