In a large bowl, whisk together flour, yeast, sugar, and salt. In a separate bowl, whisk warm milk, warm water, melted butter, and eggs. Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix until a sticky dough forms. Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic (add a little flour if needed).

Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.

In a bowl, mix diced apples, brown sugar, and cinnamon.

Roll out dough on a floured surface to a 12x18-inch (30x45 cm) rectangle. Spread softened butter over dough. Evenly sprinkle apple mixture over the surface.

Cut dough into 6 strips lengthwise, then stack strips and cut into 6 squares. Stack squares upright in a greased 9x5-inch (23x13 cm) loaf pan.

Cover loaf pan and let rise for 30–40 minutes until puffy.

Preheat oven to 175°C (350°F). Bake for 35–40 minutes until deep golden brown and cooked through. Cover loosely with foil if browning too quickly.

Let bread cool in the pan for 15 minutes, then remove and cool on a wire rack.

Whisk peanut butter, powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla until smooth and pourable.
